Robert A. Schanke Award, Mid-America Theatre Conference

Dr. Granshaw won the Robert A. Schanke Theatre Research Award during the 2018 Mid-America Theatre Conference Luncheon. The Schanke Award is given annually to an untenured faculty presenter at the Theatre History Symposium for their conference paper. Dr. Granshaw received the award for her paper, "Inventing the Tramp: The Early Tramp Comic on the Variety Stage," an excerpt from the first chapter of her book, Dramaturgies of Mobility in the Irish-American Performance (under advance contract with the University of Iowa Press).
